I was so intrigued by the Tampa Bowl, that I convinced him if we finished our run in time, we should go get our brunch there, since it would be our only meal prior to the wedding we would be attending that evening. He obliged and we came in when it was very empty. We were immediately greeted warmly by the owners and sat at a table of our choice. The Saturday Brunch is divine we had the Havana Breakfast of the brunch, which was only a $3 upcharge, and it was like I was back in my Tía's house in West Tampa as a kid. The food came quickly, with exploding flavor (and a personal nostalgia bomb going off in my mind), and perfectly brewed café con leche to accompany the meal (included with the Havana Breakfast). We will definitely be returning many times to come! Thank you guys for your incredible and family oriented hospitality.
My friend has been encouraging me to try this place for some time, but I finally tried it today took my Mom for some brunch. I thought at first it was just a diner, but it is more of a Latin inspired cafe. They have Cuban bread and Cafe con Leche. Really reasonable prices. You can get the Havana Breakfast with some Palomilla steak, eggs, Cuban bread, and a coffee for around $10 total. All the food has a really clean taste like if you cooked the food at home. Not too much oil or fried elements to it. Just good food. I also got a Cuban Sandwich and it was made well. It was balanced. I was given the option to add lettuce and tomato, and I personally like that in my sandwich so I added it. The portion of the Cuban was good and it had a good crunch. Price was again reasonable. They make flan in house, but we decided to get a Guava Cream Cheese Turnover since we weren't too hungry. It was tasty and a good ending to a great visit. All this food came to around $20 for 2 people total. The service was great. It's Mom and Pop the women who served us were really friendly and helpful when ordering. We were regularly checked on and the environment inside the cafe was relaxing. The seats we sat in were comfortable. I'll be back! ProTip: They have unlimited mimosas on Saturdays.
Stopped for breakfast on a whim so glad we found this place! Simple, delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered eggs and grits with sausage and the Tampa bowl, and a muffin to go I can't decide what I liked best! Owners and staff were so nice and friendly, we can't wait to go back!
It’s a delicious breakfast place! I enjoyed the cheddar and bacon quiche, delicious! I also tried bruschetta small plate, it was tasty!
New place, found it by accident, stopped by and the place is amazing. Food is top quality and the prices are low. Best breakfast and brunch!
