Stromboli Brick Oven Pizza - Brantford

If you like your pizza sweet, this is for you! I rarely post reviews but I wish I had seen one like this before I ordered. If you're getting brick oven sauce, it is SWEET! I got a large pepperoni pizza and a pound of wings. Wings were good; pizza was not. There were two pizza sauce options on Skip brick oven and stromboli sauce. I don't know why there are no descriptions as to what these are on the site but it seems like a pretty big thing to leave out in hindsight. I chose brick oven sauce thinking it couldn't possibly be that much different to other pizza sauces I was used to but I was so wrong! Not only it gnawingly sweet, but there was so much of it that I couldn't even eat more than one slice. Maybe mine was just a bad batch but definitely disappointed after hearing so many good things.

I ordered a meatball sandwich a year ago they gave me the wrong sandwich. Not thinking about it i bit into it. Realizing it was the wrong order i went back to get my actual order. They made me pay again like it was my fault for getting the wring order. I recently came back to get the Texas gold hot wings went home i take a bite out of it. It had zero spice to it and a hint of sugary glaze to it. Do they get a lot of orders wrong? How do I come back a year later and they still mess things up. When it hits… it’s pretty good, but this is ridiculous…

Wow amazing pizza. I have been a loyal customer of another pizza place in town until I got to try it last week. ordered one today and I am hooked and I am very picky with pizza just absolutely amazing

I was introduced to Brick Oven after moving to Brantford in the 90's. Back then it was in the plaza on Paris Rd at Tollgate. After moving to Hanover, I had the occasion to stop by Brantford and would grab a couple pizzas to go, and subsequently saddened when they eventually closed. After I don't know how many years and a move to Kitchener, I was surprised to find out that Stromboli's had obtained the Brick Oven signature sauce. I now drive from Kitchener to Brantford on regular occasion to pick up some Brick Oven pizza and I am never disappointed!!! They have a GREAT SPECIAL 1 Medium Pizza with 2 toppings for $9. Can't go wrong with extra cheese and pepperoni and that sauce.... Wow! We tried their wings tonight and I was not at all disappointed, still favor the Jack Astor's wings but Stromboli's makes a solid (and large) chicken wing, the mild sauce is delicious. So glad Stromboli's kept the Brick Oven alive and come picnic season I'm definitely adding wings to our order.

Had my partner grab me a panzerotti from here. They asked her to look at it and because they threw so much parm and pizza spice on top she couldn't tell it was burned black. Called the restaurant and they asked me to text them pics which I did. The lady was like well your friend said it was ok so to bad. Nice business! Disgusting!!! Won't ever order from here again. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
