We have lunch over time on a family trip and we have all been conquered. The frame is very pleasant and the attentive staff from the beginning to the end of the service. The dishes are fine and the balanced flavors. special mention to the 7h calf, absolutely delicious! desserts are homemade and very good, especially the strawberry rhubarb crumble. A very good value for money!

We ate here fairly early on a Saturday evening. The menu was fairly typical with duck in abundance. Terrine with foie gras was very good; escargots did not disappoint. The duck tournedos was excellent, if more pink than husband would have liked. Veal kidneys were excellent, although perhaps would have benefitted from a vegetable as well as mashed potato accompaniment. Excellent puddings; service a tiny bit on the slow side. The evening was spoiled a little by the local boy racers on mopeds screaming past at 15mph in first or second gear- not the restaurant's fault but it grated teeth somewhat and spoiled what could have been a really great experience.
