I became a grand champion and had never heard of this restaurant before, but I can't stop talking about it now!

Top-notch dining experience! We arranged a visit with my mother-in-law and took her out for a wonderful dinner. We started with a charcuterie board that featured three different cheeses, one of which was paired with some fantastic local honey. I ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth—it was excellent! My mother-in-law had the crab cakes, which she also praised as excellent. My partner chose the Cajun steak; at first glance, he was a bit hesitant, but he ended up loving it as well. The sides were just as impressive: the mushroom risotto, Lyonnaise potatoes, and our favorite, the fried sprouts. The next day, we found ourselves reminiscing about the meal during lunch. The service was exceptional; they clearly hire and train the right people to provide five-star restaurant service.

My partner and I shared a ribeye, which was not tender and tasted quite generic. We also ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, but I was surprised to find them smothered in marinara sauce, which honestly overshadowed the flavor of the tomatoes. In my opinion, they shouldn't cover a dish in sauce if they want it to taste good. The menu didn’t mention that the tomatoes would come loaded with cheese and bacon, so I assumed I was ordering a healthier side. Even if they need to add toppings, the dish should still be enjoyable on its own or with minimal enhancements. On a positive note, the atmosphere and the service were excellent! However, I think I would prefer to dine elsewhere — a place that is not only more affordable but also offers food that melts in your mouth.

It took forever to get our meals and my steak was ordered medium well and came out medium and medium rare in the center. When u asked the waitress if it looked medium well to her she said it’s just whatever you think.

We ordered the duck confit rolls, wedge salad, filet, ribeye, brussel sprouts, and mushrooms. Everything was right on point and delicious. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was pleasant and relaxing. We love the management there and the kitchen staff is wonderful.
