This restaurant is definitely worth the drive from Gothenburg. The scenic countryside drive, lined with picturesque barns and farmhouses, is a memory I will cherish forever. The cafe offers fresh and delicious creative dishes, with home-baked desserts that are the best we've had in Scandinavia. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, making it easy to relax for hours. For an extra treat, take a short 500 meter drive or walk to see the rock climbers and the sea.

Röe Gård is a hidden gem in Lysekil that should not be missed. The food here is the best we had in all of Sweden, made with fresh ingredients that truly shine in every bite. The desserts are perfectly balanced in flavor and clearly made with care each day. We highly recommend the Skagenrora, seafood salad, fish soup, eggost, torte, and Swedish pancakes. Everything we tried was delicious, with a perfect 10/10 taste rating - you can't go wrong with any choice. The only downside was having to leave! Be sure to explore the shop filled with beautiful home goods, special treats, and more. Don't forget to enjoy the outdoor seating, meet the chickens, and admire the stunning property before you leave. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Our three-year-old grandchildren love this place. They have a children's playground that is perfect for younger kids. There is a real tractor that they love, even though it doesn't work. The restaurant also has hens, rabbits, and sometimes cows on the premises. For us adults, there is a small gallery and a shop selling antiques and homemade candies. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with moderate prices and delicious food. The menu changes regularly, but the burgers, made with real meat, are highly recommended.
