The prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the food. The homemade beer was exceptional. The pub had a vibrant atmosphere and was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it!
We decided to visit this restaurant based on the numerous reviews and high ratings. As some other diners mentioned, the service was a bit slow and the waiter was not always readily available. However, the food was exceptional and reasonably priced. The main dish evoked memories of my grandmother's cooking, which I absolutely loved. The soup was a bit on the cold side, but still satisfactory. The atmosphere may not be spotlessly clean, as it is a pub with affordable and delicious beers. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
The Slovak Pub is a charming, old-fashioned Slovakian bar and restaurant that offers traditional cuisine and drinks. The pub is located in a large building with multiple dining rooms, making it a unique and exciting place to explore. I tried the sour cabbage soup, which was packed with sauerkraut, sausage, cured meats, and vegetables in a tangy, spicy broth. I also had the creamy garlic soup served in a bread bowl, which was flavorful and not too heavy. The rustic ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit to this lively and authentic establishment.
The traditional Slovak food at this restaurant is delicious. I particularly enjoyed the halushky, which is a great way to try the national dish. Dining outside was pleasant and the atmosphere was lively. The food was good and the wait staff was friendly. Overall, if you're looking to try Slovak cuisine at a reasonable price, we recommend this Slovak pub.
This pub offers a traditional menu with reasonable prices and delicious food. It's no surprise that they have a high review score. We ordered an excessive amount of food due to our hunger upon arrival, so be mindful of the generous portion sizes. We highly recommend trying the potato dumplings with beef goulash, you won't be disappointed. Our total bill came to about £35 for a sharing platter, two main dishes, a glass of red wine, and a 1 liter jug of beer. Overall, a great dining experience.
