The O2 Lounge - BRECKENRIDGE

This was our first experience at an oxygen bar! We enjoyed a 15-minute session with relaxing aromatherapy, which has a variety of scent options to choose from. Although we only tried the 15-minute session this time, we plan to return for a 30-minute session to assist with altitude sickness. The store owner was very knowledgeable and courteous!

For my aromatherapy choice, I picked the "Joy" option. It had a mild scent that reminded me of being in an orange orchard. My boyfriend chose the "Relaxation" blend, and he mentioned that none of the scents overwhelmed the others. I also tried the "Clarity" mix, which had a delightful fragrance. If you enjoy cedarwood, vetiver, and lavender, this blend is perfect for you. I’m not sure if it was a placebo effect, but I felt quite good afterward.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. I had quite a bit of trouble adjusting to the altitude at first, but after two days, I'm starting to acclimate to the lower oxygen levels. I believe the Oxygen Bar has played a significant role in that adjustment.

After a long journey from sea level to Breckenridge, we arrived feeling dizzy, nauseous, lightheaded, and with tight chests – all the signs of altitude sickness. We crossed the street and were drawn in by a delightful aroma. The staff was extremely helpful, and we took a moment to just breathe. While we relaxed, we ordered a delicious smoothie, and we were pleased to find they also offer espresso and many other tasty treats. After our 30-minute session, we felt so much better! Our family and friends ended up visiting later that evening as well. It was a fantastic experience overall.

They provided a detailed explanation of all the benefits and what to anticipate, which was fantastic. The seating area is incredibly comfortable and creates a wonderful ambiance. I highly recommend visiting, especially if you're not accustomed to the high altitude!
