We visited this cafe attached to their campsite on a semi regular basis pre covid without booking but I believe booking is the way forward. We arrived without booking and were kindly fitted in. The other diners appeared to be having what looked like lovely full lunches. She has all the requisite Covid precautions in place and as usual a friendly prompt service. The have ample space for bicycle parking.
Friendly; cute; small tea rooms in quiet village next to excellent campsite but very disappointing cake very dry and not much flavour
This restaurant is a perfect spot for cyclists, as there were three cycling groups there when we arrived. They had a secure area for our bikes while we enjoyed some coffee and cake. The food was all homemade and fresh, the staff was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back here regularly.
Popped in for lunch early one Saturday lunchtime very warm welcome from the staff. good choice on the menu personally I would like something a little less carb heavy. The sandwiches were freshly prepared and delicious, would have like a bit of dressing on the salad however there was an option of mayo or salad cream sachets if I had wished. Reasonably priced and clean it is definately somewhere I will return to on a fairly regular basis. This is a very popular stop off for bike riders.
During a cycling trip with 8 friends through the charming roads of Norfolk, we came across Penny's Tea Room while searching for a lunch spot. It turned out to be a delightful find! We received a warm welcome, enjoyed delicious food, and had a great time chatting with Penny, who had a great sense of humor. The menu offered exactly what we were craving - paninis, omelettes, sandwiches, salads, and tasty cakes. If you're in mid Norfolk and looking for a place to enjoy a light lunch, Penny's Tea Room is the perfect spot.
