A family business. they have the best “Käsespätzle” for only 11€ and they fill as often as desired. the best is to go with a group and have them from a bowl and share with all. the staff is very friendly and fast...

We were a couple of times, the first time we were just by chance and then we were happy to find it again! wonderful eating, including bright fresh vegetables, helpful friendly staff and spectacular views. the eiskreations are amazing. a must if they are in the opposite (hopefully sitting on a warm summer day on the terrace).

We have been a few times, the first time we just happened to be passing and then were lucky to find it again! Wonderful food, including bright fresh vegetables, helpful friendly staff and spectacular views. The ice cream creations are amazing. A must if you are in the area (hopefully on a warm summer's day to sit on the terrace.)

We arrived, in town at about 7:45 PM and needed to get some dinner. We thought that we would have to drive back to the neighboring city that was bigger, but. The Owner of Haus Feuerstein suggested we try Kanisfluh Berghaus which was at the top of the mountain that overlooks the community, but they closed at 8 PM so we would have to hurry.We made it to the top at about 7:55 and the staff seemed genuinely excited that we had come for dinner. The portions were very large, but reasonable priced and the views from inside and outside are amazing. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the drive up the mountain to grab a bite to eat.

Regular visitors to Austria and this restaurant always figures in our plans for eating out. Very friendly staff. Great menu selection and very willing to help out with special dietary requirements. Visited now every years for the past five - six years. Always consistently high standards.Well priced offering excellent value for money. Can be difficult to get to in the winter as the access roads especially from Schnepfau is narrow and steep. Not for the faint hearted
