The sandwich was great and we really enjoyed it in a snowstorm down in the Val Frisal. Burleun is great place to visit.
Brigels is a great up and coming area.Halfway up the mountain at the end of the first chairlift you will find a delightful respite from skiing or hiking. If you are this deep in Switzerland you know by now the restaurants are professional and competitive.Sorry i didn’t take photos, we were too hungry from hiking down from the top but all the dishes were appetizing, well-prepared and delicious. Our local friend Barbara loves the chicken seasoning on the "healty" salad extra menu card. A classic Swiss salad with vegetables and lettuce. Yes, the chicken is very well seasoned. The bratwurst with onion sauce was great and the french fries excellent. The real gem on the menu is the Buendner Capun, a local woman's specialty also sold frozen at the local butcher. Braised leaves of Swiss chard are wrapped around a finger of spaetzli (dumpling) with a bit of speck (pancetta) and Buendner fleisch (Graubunden air dried beef). Several are in a bowl covered with a cheesy cream sauce and finished under the broiler with a little gratin.Check the daily special, today it was a beautifully fried chicken with those excellent french fries and one small trip ti the salad bar. Did i mention the view? Fabulous.Check out their sister restaurants too, see the attached. An guata mit enant.
