Rarely I have seen and experienced a hotel lobby so bright, open and yet comfortable. The interior is very well maintained and in a renovated state it has done something. It was traded on the construction period and it seems all came from the 80s. Very tasteful, not overloaded and very welcoming. What we noticed; guests have always stayed in the hotel lobby. Newspaper has been read, or discussions between the guests have taken place rarely, surprisingly and beautifully. The lobby invites you to stay. If that were not enough, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant offers food and drinks from the region and the food is high. The restaurant is already worth a visit on its own.Everything in all it is a great house from which much too little remains.Definitively a recommendation from us to visit Breisach and return to the Hotel Stadt Breisach!

For the name, the central location and directly at the Münster I would have expected a little more “flair” and professionalism.We had rented a meeting room for the evening, for about 50 people. From the reception I was sent in the wrong direction. The room was badly ventilated and the air conditioning remained after several indications. The waiter was quickly overwhelmed and took forever for the drinks.It was too sticky, too warm and we were thirsty.
