The high-resolution guest house cross lies next to the village church wideau in the middle of the village wideau about 1000m above sea level. from the rich menu, the guest can choose from a quantity of regional oriented to acceptable trips. the dishes are deliciously prepared. the house offers a well maintained black forest hospitality and the friendly staff is dedicated to the hospitable. the house also has a foreign room and so they can not spend a relaxing holiday here at any time. widenau is closely connected to a hang and is pampered by the sun properly. biker are welcome in this house. to the communal swimming pool and sauna there is a connecting door from the hotel so that the hotel guests can use these facilities for free without leaving the house. widenau is also very well suited for day trips as they can hike wonderfully here. after the work they can then strengthen themselves with an öhmliche vesper from the rich vesper card of the gas house cross. during the summer season you can enjoy coffee and cake on a sun terrace with magnificent panoramic views. The 22 square meter deluxe double room didn't last what was promised: no coffee and tea accessories despite complaints, moldy refrigerator, clogged shower drain. indoor swimming pool turned out to be an adjacent open-air swimming pool. restaurant has been closed for months, i.e. this hotel has nothing to offer for a longer stay! to avoid the day looking for a dining room f. lunch or evening (min. 1.1 km to lion or 4 km to dawn), can only be recommended to book a hotel with open restaurant (at least for house guests)!

I spent the night from the first to the second Christmas holiday with the whole family in the hotel cross, we have three rooms (two deluxe double rooms and a family room). from the outside, the hotel looks rustic and rustic, which is also reflected in the entrance area. it feels authentic and black forest. the entrance area, the staircase house, the whistle and the restaurant in the ground floor are decorated with old objects and pictures, which do not underline this image, but the hotel is furnished only dust and old but lovingly the smallest detail. the rooms have been equipped with high-quality new wood furniture, well illuminated and beautifully decorated. also the bathrooms were freshly renovated and very clean. a minibar, a smart tw, room safe and water cooker are available. to the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant, there was a nice Christmas menu. the service was very nice and accommodating and fressing German rustic and overall good. in the breakfast buffet was all rich and fresh, coffee stood with us on the table and orange juice and water could be obtained at the buffet. the immediate environment is nice to explore, a panoramic path begins quasi at the hotel exit. the environment is recommended both in summer and winter, from ski lifts to the badeparadies black forest or titis lake there is always something to experience. we like it in the black forest very good and for our next trip we will definitely visit this hotel again.
