Authentic Bremen food. Def recommend

Service was good and friendly, food was so-so. A bit in the salty side and the knipp was over-cooked, to my thinking at least. Beer was good though.

I had the fish spanne, excellent lightly fried local fish. You feel transported back thirty years in traditional Germany. Simple, authentic setting. Efficient, welcoming staff. A highly satisfactory typically local experience . Worth a lunch there.

Small restaurant with this sort of typical 'Wirtshaus' flair combined with a menu offering typical local specialties. We tried the Bremer Knipp and what shall we say? It was just delicious! Prices are moderate and more than reasonable for the quality of food offered.
