Can happen, but this does not belong to the table, therefore a clear one: highly recommended, at least I will no longer go there.
Absolute surprise for those who are looking for really fresh fish without Schicki Micki: In the Knurrhahn you sit slightly antiqued on wooden chairs and benches on tiled floor between ship models (trawlers etc. in glass showers but the fish is the hammer! Large portions at a moderate price (e.g. two pieces of Gedünsteter cod in mustard sauce with parsley potatoes for EUR 14,00 . Whoever it is not about the drums, but only about the plate, is right here. Despite looking at the kitchen, you do not smell like fried pastry, which speaks for handling the oils...
The oldest fish restaurant in Bremen, according to my own specifications, is usually visited by me on the traditional fish Friday. One has the possibility to purchase a favorable fish (e.g. sea salmon fillet with potato salad and Remolade) for the unbeatable price of permanent burner or to consume it in the small shop counter on a stand table. In addition, it is possible (and of course more cozy) to get into the ascendant fish restaurant. Here, however, prices for the same food are a little more expensive. So I had to pay almost twice for the last lunch table. If you do not stop at the typical lunchtime or if you want to pick up your fish dish for a ride, the outhouse sale is therefore more appropriate. The fish dishes offered change regularly. The staff is friendly and the direct view into the kitchen suggests that the kitchen is also very dedicated to making the customers a delicious food. There was always a harmonious working mood despite many guests.
Today I want to report on the oldest fish restaurant in Bremen. The building was built in 1680. I don't know if it was a restaurant. When you get in, you surround a maritime environment. Ship models, seaman nodes, magnificent pictures. A scent of freshly fried fish envelops the Kennernase. However, the establishment is no longer so deafly not the fish that is fresh. It is well-organised. The premises are distributed over two floors. I'd rather sit down. There's a nice view of the kitchen. Now, of course, to the most important. The food. It is worth putting on quality in home cooking. For example, if you are looking for a small piece of fish, garnished with a gold leaf), you are missing from the square. You get a decent piece of fish with defensive supplements. The potato salad is a poem. And all for a reasonable price. Who's in a hurry. in the associated ancillary room with a large glass front towards the bowl basket) with standing tables can be quickly brutzeln, eat there or take along. Opening hours are a little peculiar: Mo Mi 11 7 p.m. Do Fr 11 p.m. Sa 11 p.m. 17 p.m.
