Premier Inn - Brent

Stayed in hotel and booked meal deal which is £25 for 2 course dinner and a drink with breakfast the next day. Has the gammon main and it was very nice. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice.

I've reviewed this twice before following previous stays at the Premier Inn, Wembley Park. On this occasion, I have to say it wasn't very good at all so much so we only ate the once and went elsewhere for our evening meal. Not done that before on our two previous stays. Soup was watery (out of a packet? , lamb koftas, was all of two pieces size of a thumb. Main meals were benign. To top that off, when it came to settling the bill, the waiter couldn't work the till, had to go seek help and left me standing without an apology or explanation. We like staying at Premier Inn Wembley Park as the hotel is good but we won't bother with Thyme restaurant again on our annual visits. There are better places to eat no more than ten minutes walk down the road.

After seeing the pictures of the burger, I was expecting more. However, it only had two average patties. I would prefer to dine at a different restaurant next time.

I typically steer clear of Premier Inn restaurants due to past experiences with crowds, but after a long day of travel, we were in need of a quick meal and a drink. Despite our reservations, the staff at this particular Premier Inn were well-trained and pleasant. However, the restaurant itself only had about 6 tables available all evening, which seemed odd considering how quiet it was. We were told there would be a half hour wait for a table, which was surprising given the lack of customers. It appears that staffing may be reduced when there are no events at nearby Wembley Stadium. Our server, Francesca, was friendly and professional despite the limited staff. We enjoyed a reasonably priced pint and delicious burger and lamb rogan josh. The small size of the restaurant made for a quiet and enjoyable evening meal.
