Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams - Brentwood

I tried the Watermelon Taffy, and it was quite good, although it was a bit milkier than I expected. They were out of the Sunshine flavor, but the suggestion to try the Rainbow yogurt was spot on. It had a similar taste and was really enjoyable! We definitely need a Jeni's location in Hermitage or Mt. Juliet.

I frequently visit this place when I'm craving ice cream. The samples are back, which means you can once again try out their new and unique flavors. I sampled the Everything Bagel flavor, and it was exactly как described. However, I ultimately opted for my tried-and-true favorites: almond brittle and peanut butter chocolate flecks. They also offer ice cream shipping, making it a wonderful gift option for someone special.

The ice cream selection at this place is fantastic! They even offer some really tasty dairy-free options! I was surprised to find that the Texas sheet cake was dairy-free because it was absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed the lavender ice cream, remarking that its flavor was fresh and unique.

I sneaked out during my lunch break to grab some Jeni's ice cream, and it was absolutely worth it! They still don't allow tastings of different flavors because of COVID regulations, which means I have to keep coming back to try each one individually ;P I highly recommend the butter cake flavor—it's delicious!

The ice cream is usually quite good, but they really skimp on the scoops! The last time I visited, I ordered a waffle bowl with two scoops and I almost laughed at how tiny they were, especially for over $10. I would have needed three scoops just to fill the bowl somewhat. It makes me wonder why they don’t offer smaller waffle bowls. The service is decent; the staff is generally friendly and efficient, but I just can’t get past those minuscule scoops!
