I love everything about this place. the foodie in me was thrilled. ok, so we talk about the venue, it is like its regular cafeteria with different stationary and there are plenty of sitting opportunities (there is even a top floor that has a few couches and barstools). parking is a little tricky. I had luck and saw someone who left the garage and has a place, but there is only a handful of parking in this garage. Now eat. De-friggin-licous! I had the chicken and henny waffeln and garnel and laughs and grottes, both were delicious, but my favorite was the hunch and waffeln (it's hard to find a place that makes a decent fried chicken without making it dry). both were uncaged. the bar is also beautiful and the drinks are not bad. on Sunday they have a henny Punsch special, which is surprisingly quite decent (I am not a fan of hennessy so). I recommend trying this place at least twice. I wish they had more food vendors (now there are 3 and a dessert place, the by the way dc cakes is amazing), but I hope they will do that in the future.
You have to go! I went to luvplates grill. good heart, this smiling and grilled chicken ****! I also went to D.C sweets, tried the sweet potato cake and bought a sweet potato cake. the sweet potato cake was my cake, I'm going back! savor is the place to go to satisfy everyone starving and it is quite expensive, but my favourite is worth it! I usually have pictures, but I thought about eating, oh good!
Came to the brunch with my housewife. we originally wanted to go to the uncaged chef, but the line was down and around the corner. we went to little minor taco instead. they have an extensive menu with great taco options. they didn't disappoint. the fried fish and the purple cauliflower with the Aioli sauce was a tasty bite. we asked the barkeeper joseph for a sweet drink recommendation and gave us a henny punch that was so good.
J'adore!! why am I now just finding out about this place??!! Savor is a nicely chic and modern food hall that is styled with a white industrial design, and speckled with a variety of colorful art and mural paintings. In classic food hall fashion, Savor harbors local artisan restaurants such as Uncaged chefs, LuvPlates Soul Grill, Voss food (plant based food), Little Miner Taco, and of course, DC Sweet potato cake. There's also Community Cocktails, which is basically a spacious, open area bar. If you explore Savor, you'll also find Relish Market (farmers market) and Curated DMV (boutique), who both sell a variety products that include locally grown or made items such as body creams, oils, spices, crafted bags and t-shirts, art, jewelry, and cold pressed juices. I love the concept of Savor..and it seems to be the place to hang out without the confinements of a traditional restaurant or the impersonal atmosphere of a food court. However, Parking is umm...interesting. I happened to luck out as two very nice ladies offered me their parking space, while I was asking about Uncaged chefs location. So basically, only street parking available..so yelp peeps, unless you're extremely patient that day, just uber, lyft, etc. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely addition to the Hyattsville/Brentwood area! P.S. owned by a Woman..and African American...definitely support
