Great food!. Of all the chicken tender locations in the Nashville area, Maniac's rules the roost. Awesome tenders! I haven't tried anything else on the menu because the tenders are sooo good. Their sauces are also very good. Try the H2 sauce. Maybe the tastiest sauce for a tender I have had. The slaw is a mayo based sauce, and is very good. The fries are good, but I prefer the thicker crinkle cut ones that Otter's had. However, I go to Maniac's for the chicken tenders and not the fries. A must go location.
The Kids Will Love It. If you 're looking for a nice quiet spot to stare into each other 's eyes, pass this by. But, if you need to take the young ones somewhere where they 'll be happy, this is your place. Judging by the squeals in Maniac 's kids really love this. And, as chicken tenders go, these aren 't bad. If you choose breaded, they are heavily breaded, so expect that. Plain grilled are available for a 'healthlyer ' alternative and they have a nice tasting marinade. The fries are real potatoes and good. There are multiple dipping sauces that range from plain honey-mustard to hot habanero. The slaw is very creamy with a little dill and sour cream taste. If you don 't want it, they 'll give you more fries instead. The staff really hustles to keep things moving and tables clean. But, if you can 't take a place with lots of background noise, pass this by. Otherwise, it 's a decent option and a necessary one if you have youngsters.
Great food. Had cajun chicken and was fabuluous.Reasonable prices. Ambience ok...little warehouse-y
Miss Houston's?. Their chicken tenders platter and fries are almost identical to those served at Houston's restaurant when it was on West End. Now if they could only come up with something like the Five Walnut Brownie they would have the hat trick.
