The Black Horse - Brentwood

We've dined here a few times before and have always found this to be a good place to come to of an evening.

The pub was amazing, with tasty food and excellent service. The only downside was that even though we had made a reservation through Open Table, they couldn't find it when we arrived. Despite being busy, they were still able to seat us. However, this may make me think twice about using Open Table for reservations in the future.

The restaurant was bustling for a Wednesday night, but this did not affect the quality of service. I would definitely return.

Meal was ok ordered pork belly which came up 80% fat. Complained to waitress who went to see Chief who apparently said all the pork was the same Then spoke with Manager who looked at the pork and tried to find where the meat was he eventually agreed to replace with beef but not particularly gracious

Every time I dine at The Black Horse, it is consistently a delightful experience. The interior design is charming, and the staff members are exceptionally welcoming and kind. The menu always offers a delicious selection to choose from. In fact, my friend and I were discussing during our meal that we have never had anything to complain about in all the times we have eaten here. The team at The Black Horse truly deserve recognition for their hard work. Thank you, Tracy Palmer.
