The Harvester - Brentwood

Last minute Sunday lunch decision booked on the app. Wish we'd stayed indoors. We've been here maybe 8 9 times with varying degrees of quality service but this one was an all time low and our last visit. Unfriendly staff, to the point of rude. A pineapple ring on the gammon about 2 ins across: the salad was tired inedible: no plates for the rolls we buttered them on napkins. Haddock chips when I moved the fish off the chips a river of oil ran off it, over the chips puddling on the plate! Mopped up with my napkin had to remove the batter as it was sodden glistening with oil. Service was very slow half hour wait for the two meals and the tables were only about quarter full when we ordered. Overall a huge disappointment waste of money. Go somewhere else as this place is definitely not reliable. Hope they don't ruin too many people's Xmas meals.

The waitresses provided fantastic service, but the manager was rude. It was uncomfortable to sit and eat due to the unnecessary heating being on.

Went to the Brentwood harvester for dinner on a Saturday evening. The service was amazing from a warm greeting from manager Austin, taken to the table where are server Sue was excellent being very friendly polite and very attentive The food was lovely, hot and delicious, didn’t have to wait long either. The staff, service and food was excellent, no complaints from me.

Last week, my children and I came to this restaurant for lunch. The waitress was great, and my kids really enjoyed her. Thank you, Aga, for making our day special for me and my family!
