Fa-Ngam - Bressuire

This restaurant, in a quiet street directly at the boulevard albert 1er throroughfare, offers a relaxed friendly environment and a limited but good choice of vegetarian options on its predominantly meat-based menu. we ordered a generous and tasty sweet meal, by using two veggie entrées (no breakfast rolls and sweet sosamosas that we had to check that they do this as they are not included in the menu) with two veggie accompagnements (chop suey sweet and sticky rice) the part was large enough for a very satisfying it is certainly a limited choice, but well cooked and about the only really veggie option for a proper restaurant that we found in bressuire.

Went to Fa Ngam for my 2nd time and my wife's 3rd. Instantly friendly reception and supported our limited French vocabulary with excellent spoken English. Our 3 year old was given a 'higher' chair which was both thoughtful and attentive on the part of the staff. Again, although given only a set menu the owner (amazing lady) was quick to ask us what we fancied and cooked it to absolute perfection !!. The kids were both asked what they wanted with suggestions given. I had pork spring rolls and my wife had chicken satay skewers with a view to us sharing. Both were fantastic but I have to add the chicken satays were by a mile the best I've ever had. Tender chunks of breast with a tasty sauce and a sprinkle of fresh coriander was an excellent touch to the dish. Mains followed shortly after which was 'Poulet ou Caramel' and Duck with vegetables. Both dishes were faultless again. Each ingredient could be tasted independently rather than some restaurants where it's all bland and overly salted. With the exception of ice creams for the kids which they liked, I chose pineapple fritter which was duly flambeyed in front of us at the table leaving a subtle rum smell and taste. Divine and glad I chose it. Good end to another fantastic meal at Fa Ngam. Highly recommend this restaurant to all. Will probably return next week for some lunch :-)

On a déjeuné en famille et il y en avait pour tous les goûts. L'accueil sympatique et on y a bien mangé.

Très bon resto beau cadre bien mangé un petit regret pas de menu enfants bon rapport qualité-prix surtout quand c'est papy qui paye...merci

Nous sommes déçu que le restaurant ne soit plus aussi "actif " qu'auparavant mais on comprend largement lorsqu'il n'y a plus de personnel pour assurer la demande des clients. Le système des plateaux repas nous plait beaucoup et on se régale à chaque fois que l'on vient ou que l'on commande à emporter. Nous reviendrons et continuerons à commander tant que se sera possible.
