By the time we ended up at this Lebanese restaurant we were already fearing we wouldn’t get any lunch, having been turned down, with a big smile, at 1.30 p.m. at the nearby Italian La Pasta because ‘they were about to close’. Even on weekdays Brest is definitely not a town for wandering tourists. Inside, the Palais du Liban looked a bit run-down and was (already? almost empty. We shared a plate of mezze, beef sambouseks and falafels. The food didn’t come with Lebanese bread and wasn’t very well presented. Compared to the Lebanese cuisine we are used too, it was also less refined end the falafels were way too hard and crunchy. Service was very friendly and the price was reasonable. With a bottle of French rosé wine, we spent about 35 euros.
It was my first and last visit. Expensive, not tasty at all and doesn't look like the picture, the order took forever to arrive, I got a frozen dessert! Terrible!!!!
Warm welcome, delicious dishes, hearty and beautifully presented, a moment of pure pleasure, thank you.
Warm welcome, home cuisine, delicious and beautifully presented dishes, a real happiness, thank you
