I waited 45 minutes for a single sandwich, and it was frustrating to see multiple orders placed after mine being served ahead of me. The three employees in the back seemed more interested in goofing around than actually working. It took them an entire 45 minutes to simply cut a croissant in half, scoop some pre-made chicken salad into it, and add a single leaf of lettuce. This is absurd. When I finally spoke up, all I received was a half-hearted “I’m sorry for the wait.” There was no refund, no offer of a pastry, nothing—just a smile and an apology. I definitely won’t be returning. If you decide to go, I suggest calling in your order and picking it up in about an hour. Just be warned: if you order more than one sandwich, you might as well stop by the general store to grab your own ingredients!
I discovered this restaurant today, and what a delight it was! The sandwiches are freshly made by hand, and we tried the wildflower Italian with avocado, which was outstanding. They also serve excellent espresso-based coffee with a variety of milk options. We went with oat milk, and it tasted as good as any gourmet coffee you could find in a big city. They had fresh mint chip cookies available today, but the sandwich was so amazing and fulfilling that I couldn't manage to have a cookie as well. Compared to other places in Brian Head, this spot is a must-visit for a delicious, fresh meal. We’re planning to return tomorrow!
Happy to find this place open for breakfast in mud season. We 've had their tasty sandwiches for lunch mid-summer, but on a cold day between ski and full tourist summer season, it was nice to be able to order a croissant breakfast sandwich and sit quietly before heading back to Cedar City.
Absolutely a top 10 coffee for me, f'd up and asked for a change half way through and she said we'll make it this way. Absolutely perfect. Reason for 4 star, we are out of season for this place and they don't open until 9:30. It's a coffee shop, the locals I would assume start their day well before and the transients like us want to get going by 8. Change your hours to fit the clientele.
