....under new management and chef, Johnathan Rees, has made the newly named Black Rabbit, his own. Tasty food...an innovative menu...and excellent service. This small team are on the ball. Highly recommend.
This was about the 6th or 7th time we’ve eaten here. Since Jonathan took over, first the menu and now the whole place, transforming it to The Black Rabbit, it has been reliably excellent for dinner of an evening. They seem to use local produce, all tasty. Plus, the staff are all friendly and attentive. The menu is less fussy than Tommy Heaney and the place is both way less up itself while still being a quality night out. I really wish Jonathan all the best with the place and really believe he it his team and their offering have what it takes to succeed.
A small intimate restaurant with great service and wonderful food ...the wine list is small but very good .
Visited the restaurant for the first time last night, nice food but very over priced for measly potions, I won’t rush back.
