The restaurant is located in downtown Stratford next to the train station on the first floor of a 3 story building. The establishment takes up 2 locations. The decor is what you would expect with plenty of Mexican photos on the walls. There is plenty of staff as we were there on a Friday night. The drink menu is full with multiple flavors of margaritas. The menu is multi page meeting all diets and appetites. I chose the steak fajitas which is my go to. Sides were multiple including shredded cheese which is nice. The steak was cooked a little on the well done side for my liking. Tortillas were warm and the ratio to steak was spot on. After the full meal we did not choose to get dessert although offered. Cost per plate is inline with the area.
My wife and I seriously love this place. The mole enchiladas are always so tasty, and so are the margaritas. My only wish is that we could afford to eat here every weekend.
We came here on a Sunday evening, it was a beautiful ambiente, we sat on the tables, but they have a bar area. very cozy place, waitress was very nice and please be patient because it seems as if they were underoccupied. for beginners we ordered steak quadillas and they were incredible, I would have wanted a bit more steak, but that's just greedy. it was served with the house guac and sour cream. we also got a good amount of chips and salsa. the most important courses were amazing. I ordered the tres amigos. everything was great and the fried beans were booomb. my wife ordered this combi plate with steak and garnel that came with different sides and a container of warm tortillas. now the drinks. a1! I ordered the $10 mango frozen margarita and my wife got the strawberry. will be back for drinks at the bar. if they are in the opposite or just moving, they come here and enjoy their night with themselves or loved ones. they will not regret it. update: guacamole is fat. they used a type of cornflake outer shell for the roasted ice, not sure if I liked it too much. it came with this really good tortilla chip like chips and that was great. burrito was strong. not complaining.
Delicious queso dip! and the acapulco burrito was delish. guacamole was beautiful and calky. our waitress was super nice.
