I mean, it's a 25-minute drive from home and it was worth it. I met the owner who didn't know he was the owner. he just spoke and shared something through our conversation that he was the owner and from there he shared my advice, as our little conversation led me to share my business! he said his customers were like friends, and in this short time our conversation felt familiar. oh, and he has a bulletin board for business to share visits cards / events and was allowed to add my information to this board. I came home and my order was missing a few things from the miscommunication, but was said that I came in the next time, they could fix it. but the food that I have eaten, and so despicable! I couldn't get enough and was sad that I didn't have the rest of my command, and they honored her word for the next time I came in to correct the dinge. today a young lady worked at the front and she was also super nice and we also met a little talk. I tried a new court and picked something for my brother. After I came home, the command was right and we have torn up the food! can not wait to get back to the other side of the carbahn for more eating and keeping!
Best roti in ct by far and a place I visit once in the month religious. the regular size is more than enough for two people (or a really hungry eat). make sure they get a few double with their order.
Another hidden spot in Bridgeport for good home cooked food. This is a small place not a great place to sit and eat i would suggest a place for takeout. Two people were on the counter to take order they were prompt and pleasant. I tried the double which is a roti with chickpea curry filling which was really good proper spices and taste. They had a proper blend for the chickpea curry this place has many Indian flavors. Stew chicken with white rice and yellow dal as an mini entree for 6.50$ which is reasonable and proper for one person's meal. They have strong odor of used oil at this place I would prefer anyone to order online rather than waiting there. Overall it's a must try place good food low prices.
Nice hole in the wall. We waited 1.5hrs to served. Food was good. They offer vegan options.
I hate to give a bad review on this business but I hope the owner will see this and improve their customer service. I stumbled upon this local eatery while I was going through the area and loved the food! I went back today and ordered an entrée and a wrap to go. It took over 45+ minutes for them to make the food! I was like ok... no worries as I understand restaurants can get busy with online orders and what not, drove back 1 hour as I live in Wolcott and when I opened the bag my order was completely wrong. Wrap wasn't what I requested and toppings were completely different and it was completely messy! I am pretty upset as I patiently waited and least they could have done was to double checked my order.
