El Fogon Hispano - Bridgeport

We had a late lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The Google reviews were spot on!The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We had a couple of beautifully prepared tacos as appetizers, and they tasted as good as they looked. My wife had the chicken fajitas and as you can see, another beautifully prepared dish. I had the El Boss Burrito and enjoyed every bite of the grilled steak, caramelized onions and peppers with green salsa, with rice and beans and quacamole. I definitely will be back!

The food wasn't the issue, what I got was delicious. However, I would have a better review if I got all of my food and if ownership would have offered to give it to me.

Staff is awesome , food tastes great! The burrito is huge and tastes delicious!

SO GOOD! If I didn’t eat lunch, I was going to pass out crash the car. Opened Google Maps to find SOMETHING, ANYTHING to eat, saw this was close. SERENDIPITY!! Had a delicious ‘bisteca Mexicano’ platter of beef, rice, beans , was taken good care of by the ¡MUY LINDA! hostess. The chef de cuisine was a charming gent, too, and we all had a lovely chat, in Spanish, despite my lack of proficiency. But we all agreed that the Red Sox will likely win the division this year. I am making this a MUST STOP on my next swing through Bridgeport.

Good food and service. Authentic Mexican ??? food. Taste great
