We have been going to El Puena for more than 4 years. Every time we go to the area for fishing trips(4-6 times a year), we treat ourselves after setting up camp to a meal there. Sometimes, during the same trip,we can't help ourselves and go back for another meal. We have ordered nearly everything on the menu, including whole fried tilapia. We have been very satisfied with everything! We are always on the lookout for good Mexican food. My husband grew up in So Cal and knows good Mexican, and this is it. They make their own tortillas and salsa. Great place, really nice people.
