Rootsman Kitchen - Bridgeport

This was my first time at the restaurant, and as soon as I walked in, I noticed that the food was coming straight from the kitchen. I ordered the brown braised chicken with rice and beans, and it was fantastic! They serve generous portions, so you really get your money's worth. The flavors were delicious and satisfying. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes, and the prices are quite reasonable too!

I do not try to leave a 5 stars, but this place is worth definitiw that the ruck huh was so juicy and delicious the rice and drilling was amazing cauliflower was just as tasty on any case coming back thank you

Whenever I get home, that's one thing to stop for me. I had Jamaican food from many others and that's by far my favorite piece, hands down! I always get the jerk chicken and never disappointed.

By far one of the best jerk chicken in the state! yes state! the only conus is that they have to be more generous when the meat part add because that is what it lacks, others then that, delicious! flavored are on point and rice is nice and fluffy, delicious! all my food follow my insta for tasty eating @girleatsworldx

Delicious, authentic Jamaican food.The restaurant itself is typical Jamaican style with flyers featuring upcoming social and party events.I would highly recommend Rootsman to a friend.Whatever Jamaicans do they do it with professionalism. And accuracy..
