Tautog Tavern - Bridgeport

The staff was very nice and the food was reasonable. it feels very old and it doesn't smell good. I think if they refresh it with a color and new furniture, it would help a lot.

Went for lunch... Good Good very unusual .. atmosphere different..Pub like.

If they looked the memorable in the dictionary, besides the definition a picture of tautog tavern. all about this place cries regularly mock. the personal was very friendly, that eat extraordinary for a place like these...because they have to work on their timing. we spent a long time waiting between the first and last appetizer, and the first and last main courses were served.

Probably the worst culinary experience ever. when we ordered, there were 2 tables with diners. we ordered 2 appetizers, drinks and 4 burgers who came with fries. the drinks came, and after quite awhile we asked for the apps and they said they were coming. we asked ourselves again and they said they would come with the burgers we said it was not good. they brought the apps and they were delicious. then they brought 4 huge baskets of pommes and said the burgers come. my rare burger came first. it was medium, I sent it back. about 10 minutes later, someone else came cold with not melted cheese, but they decided to eat it. After 40 minutes we asked for the manager and she said I'm sorry that the kitchen is safe, I can bring them everything we had 2 beer for which they have accused us. about 15 minutes later another cold burger came out and he decided to eat it. then my burger came back and they had put on it (I am lactose inlerant) and I sent it back. 10 minutes more a burger to me, boiled pink with an almost frozen roll. I left it, put the roll aside and ate the burger. not yet a 4th burger. still 10 minutes and the last burger came and it was cold and at that time we had sent it back and our friend said he wanted no replacement and he would eat at home. they took the burgers from the bill, accused us for the extra beer. we paid the waitress to what the whole bill should have been. she was sweet and beside herself with the terrible experience. you can't pay us to go back.

I brought my daughter here for her Katsudon, a traditional Japanese court she had in japan. it had an American spin in it with the addition of pickles but was really good! the place is a really cool bar that was very welcoming. would definitely go back!
