My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way to New River Gorge from Pittsburgh. We both ordered the brisket sandwich. I got a side of Mac and cheese and my wife decided to try to fried okra. The brisket was not as tender as I expected, but it was still enjoyable and had a nice smoky flavor. The mac and cheese was tasty as well, though not exceptional. Service was fast and the food was hot and fresh when they brought it out. The restaurant was basic, but clean and tidy inside. Overall, this is a good option in this area for a nice BBQ sandwich.

Food was fantastic. Good smoke on the pulled pork, very tender brisket. Baked beans were appropriately seasoned and not too sweet. Cornbread was tender and good texture. The coleslaw was creamy and tangy.

We visited this restaurant for lunch one afternoon this week while we were visiting from out of town, and we had a fantastic meal! The portions were very generous and it reminded us of the barbecue places back home. We also noticed another out-of-towner having lunch, who was very friendly and engaging in conversation. We would definitely return to this restaurant if we are in town again.

Great BBQ place. I've eaten BBQ from Texas to California, North Carolina and South Carolina and places in between. This BBQ has great flavor and the sauces are good, too. I've had pulled pork, brisket and smoked wings. All are very good. Stop in. You won't be disappointed!
