I ordered the Cajun pasta, which featured penne noodles tossed in a rich Cajun sauce. It was simple yet fantastic. Every meal comes with complimentary bread. The service was a bit slow, but I completely understand given how busy this place is, evidenced by the long wait I had to get a table. I highly recommend trying this restaurant! Overall, I would rate my experience a 4.5 out of 5.
The original location! We hosted a birthday party for 12 people last night, and it was absolutely perfect! Mike, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Our waitress, Mary Ann (if that's her name?), along with the rest of the waitstaff, was so nice! They were friendly and attentive to all of us. The drinks and appetizers were delicious, and I particularly loved the spinach dip! We all ordered different dishes, and my pizza was AMAZING! One of my friends had their specialty steak dinner, which melted in her mouth... we were all envious! Even other diners joined in on the fun! The atmosphere is so cozy and charming too! Massa's made our special night truly PERFECT!!!
We waited nearly two hours to receive our takeout order. Surprisingly, a large group that arrived after us was served their food and finished before we even received ours. The waitress made jokes about our long wait instead of offering an apology. When our food finally arrived, the filling in the manicotti was cold. We requested boxes to take our leftovers home, but then we were ignored and had to wait again for the bill. Given this experience and the numerous other disappointed customers, I can’t recommend this restaurant anymore. When things go wrong here, they're really bad.
I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a coworker. It's located in a charming little house, giving it a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The food was excellent; I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta along with a Caesar salad. However, the Caesar salad had a somewhat fishy flavor. The portion of the entrée was generous. Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience for dinner.
The American take on traditional Italian cuisine tends to be messy and overly rich. It doesn't truly reflect how people eat in Italy. Food: 2, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 4.
