Massa's Bridgeton

Cool little dive restaurant. We had to wait a while since we had such a large group but the manager had us a complimentary appetizer waiting when we were seated. Manager personally touched each table talking to guest and helping all FOH staff. The food was excellent, authentic Italian cuisine with large portions. Everyone had leftovers. Haven’t been here in years and it looks exactly the same. And the food is just as good. Very old school. Love it. The food is good. The service is good. The prices are a little high and the music playing was terrible (local rock n roll radio station). Would have been nice to eat nice Italian food without bands like Metallica playing loud overhead. Suggestion…. Something a little softer maybe lol

Service was slow because the waitress said they were short staffed (like every other business). Never got water or bread. Finally got a refill on my Sprite. Still left a tip because we were trying to be understanding patient. Food was excellent! We shared portabella stuffed mushroom it was one of the best we've ever had!
