99 Restaurants - Bridgewater

Do you really want to give this place another chance? The food is good and the staff is fantastic! However, the portion sizes leave a lot to be desired. This is at least the third or fourth time my friend and I have commented on the questionable portion sizes. Last time I was there, the bar staff even noticed my frustration with the portions and apologized. When I asked the chef if they would accept this portion size for themselves, they agreed that more food should be provided. Come on, you're better than this! I spent good money on four orders, and I expected more for what I paid!

We're heading to Trivia night on Thursday. The bartenders are familiar with us and our food and drink preferences. The food is generally good, but the wings could use more cooking. We always request them well-done, yet they still come out a bit too pink in the middle. Aside from that, we really enjoy the food!

Salt Water Place. Our server, Lane, was one of the best I've ever encountered. She was incredibly nice, friendly, attentive, and charming. The baked cod was a little dry, and there was some skin and a bone. The kids' meal was fairly standard. However, the desserts were delicious—especially the chocolate cake served with ice cream, whipped cream, and Oreo crumbs.

Good food, quick service! Our server was Izzy and she was great in participating in everything we asked her and was very personal! I enjoyed my meal here, it tasted good. The parts were not worth what I paid, very small part. But all the others in my party had it different where they had a lot of food! It seems that there are some inconveniences with their menu and what they can actually do. They serve popcorn shortly after sitting. Izzy was great to fill our drinks. The turnaround from order to food was impressive. The restaurant was pretty dead, which is always uncomfortable for me, could be because of its location, but I am the kind of guy who takes the worst, so I think of other reasons, it could be empty. The bathrooms here were pretty clean, which was nice. I'd come back if I'm ever in the area! There was nothing I liked that distracted me from another visit! Overall, satisfied and pleasant experience!

We've enjoyed 99 restaurants many times, but this time was a bit different because, although we understand that prices are going up everywhere and portions sometimes get a bit smaller, the fish and chips was literally half the size, both the fish and fries, so I gave my husband half of my very delicious and still same size burger and fries. We also noticed that some tables were brought popcorn, but not ours. I suppose it's by request now-or maybe you pay? We also felt a bit rushed even though no one was waiting to be seated, but our waitress was very friendly and we'll still go again, we'll just ask about portion sizes and popcorn!
