The chicken was decent, but I encountered a serious issue with the third piece, which clearly had been left out too long before cooking. It was unappetizing and unsafe to eat. Their claim of being "Always Fresh" was misleading. I even had to spit out the unappetizing chunk for demonstration purposes, so I apologize for that detail. Additionally, they didn't have any pennies, which means they are pocketing an extra cent or two from every cash-paying customer. Cash used to be valued, but now it feels trivial. Sticky's should reconsider their pricing and maybe lower it by 98 cents instead of keeping the spare change.
It was neither great nor terrible—just a pretty average chicken experience. Given their claim of having the "Best Chicken," I think they have some improvements to make. The chicken itself was moist and flavorful, which was a plus. They seem to really focus on the variety of dipping sauces available. While it felt a bit pricey for what was served, that seems to be the norm these days. The service was good, and I would consider returning.
Some may consider it a bit expensive, but the chicken strips are of excellent quality, and they offer a nice variety of sauces (up to three per entree). While not all the sauces are great, there are a few standouts, particularly the Sticky's sauce. The chicken strips are generously sized, tender, and have a satisfying crunch on the outside. For me, the portion size and juiciness make the price worthwhile. Overall, I'm pleased with the chicken strips, and the fries are also above average, with a nice crispiness. I would definitely come back, and I highly recommend trying the Sticky's sauce!
I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant because it looked great and the menu seemed delicious. However, I was greatly disappointed when I ordered chicken thighs and mushroom poppers online, only to receive two orders of fries instead. They informed me that they were out of both items. Seriously? Why didn't they reach out to me to discuss a replacement or cancel the order completely? Sending fries when someone was expecting a proper lunch is just unacceptable. This experience feels really shady and poorly managed. I’m sorry, but I won’t be ordering from them again.
I had heard some negative reviews about this restaurant, but despite my better judgment, I decided to give it a try. I went in with low expectations, thinking it couldn't be too hard to get something as simple as chicken tenders right. Unfortunately, I was wrong to think positively. The tenders were difficult to eat because they were incredibly dry, and the sauces that were supposed to come with my meal were missing. The chicken sandwich was nothing special, especially when compared to KFC or Popeyes. The french fries were decent but soggy, and the cookies were among the worst I've ever tasted. They had a chalky texture, and trying to eat one without a drink nearby felt risky. Overall, I felt I had overpaid for a subpar experience. I would much rather spend the same amount at KFC and get double the food without compromising on quality. I cannot recommend Sticky’s to anyone and am honestly surprised they have stayed in business for this long.
