Sunday lunch here is as good as the best place for duck that I've experienced over the past 30 years. The bar meals are excellent too. If you want something, you have to take the initiative, and they will deliver it well. In an instant, it feels like a sought-after experience.
The atmosphere is lovely, and the bratwurst I tried was truly the best I've ever had. The meat quality was exceptional, and the service was top-notch, all in a welcoming environment. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit!
I had another amazing lunch at The Duck today! Pete made a special vegetarian Wellington for me, and it was simply divine! My partner, who is a meat lover, really enjoyed his Sunday roast—the meat was outstanding, and nobody cooks potatoes quite like Pete. The Bakewell tart was equally delightful! Sara was also very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back in three weeks with our relatives from Australia!
