Beautiful village pub with character and good atmosphere. owner and staff very friendly and courteous. eating was nice and there was a lot of it! would they recommend

First lunch at The Hood after several evening meals and it was lovely. The lunch menu has a good range of choices whilst retaining the delicious starters and desserts we are used to from the evening menu. The pub owners and staff are really friendly and the food is fab.

A beautiful environment, delicious food and friendly hard working staff. Would definitely recommend and return. Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2018. I'm told by my partner the Guiness is second to none.

We had a fantastic , relaxing meal . Very welcoming, plus we had 4 dogs. Staff very attentive, we all had roast dinners. Large portions of quality meat , potatoes and vegetables, also delicious mulled cider . Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Many thanks to all the staff. Merry Christmas to you all.
