Waypoint 622 Restaurant & Patio Bar

I received a recommendation to try this restaurant from a friend and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I dined with a group of friends and most of us ordered the wings, both the BBQ and buffalo flavors, which were some of the best I have had in a long time. We also ordered a side of fries, which were delicious as well. The service was efficient, considering the restaurant was quite busy. We were seated promptly upon arrival at 5 pm, but by the time we left at around 6:30-7, there were people waiting for seats. The restaurant also offers valet parking, although our car was conveniently close to the entrance. The restaurant is located by the water, providing a nice view especially for outdoor seating. It does get quite busy, so I would not recommend it for those who are uncomfortable in crowded environments (like myself), unless you are with a group. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This waterfront venue is a great spot for food and drinks. My sister, who lives nearby, brought us here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was very busy, and the host informed us that there was a 1 hour and 30 minute wait for a table without a reservation. We decided to grab a drink at the bar and wait anyway. Surprisingly, we only had to wait 30 minutes, which was fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and the food came out quickly, although the plating could use a bit more finesse as it seemed a bit sloppy considering the prices. The quality of the seafood was excellent, which was the main reason we came. We had a seafood feast and were pleased with the tuna tartare, jumbo shrimp cocktails, and the horseradish crusted tuna - they were all delicious. The tuna wrap was a bit dry, so next time we'll go for the lobster shrimp roll instead.

They’ve come a long way since the re-opening from COVID. Their bartenders, especially, Jake, is a professional. You will NOT get a “collage”‘martini, margarita or any other mixed drink here. They are made to perfection. So delicious and worth it. And the food is decent. The view is fabulous too! We will be back.

Amazing location on the water with a great layout and service. Chef prepared my freshly caught fish into fish and chips, wow was it excellent!

The menu seems limited. And they no longer have a sushi menu, which is a damn shame because it was awesome! I recommend the tuna tartare to start, and the firecracker shrimp. The lobster and shrimp roll is fantastic as well. The view is great, service is good too.
