Normally visit Yates when in Brighton not this weekend now a pop world and closed. It seems the Yates brand is disappearing faster then support for Terisa May. Surprised as it is a well known bran that all ways seemed to me had a good range of drinks and well cooked variety of meals definately with the right people competition for wetherspoons. I only hope this is not the beginning of the end of Yates brand.
Popped in for a quick and easy lunch due to Spoons being packed out on a Friday lunch time so this was our second choice. Placed my first order and was then told they had run out of ingredients so couldn’t order. Then opted for an easy option of nachos whilst my partner had a burger. Waited what felt like forever for two simple dishes. Nachos then turned up with minimal topping because they had ‘ran out but forgot to mention it’. There was one poor member of staff running food, manning the bar and clearing tables so customers often stood waiting minutes to get served. Do not recommend this place.
Lovely lady served me Tegan. Happy and very good at her job Food was nice too Clean and we will be back
Visited on a Monday as their Monday menu offers seemed great. They didn’t have any BBQ chicken wings to start: I could live with that, but then didn’t have any of 3 of the 6 Monday offers. Seriously, what’s the point of having offers if you can’t sell them? This was at 17:00 and the place was practically empty so they hadn’t just had a busy day.
