Poppa Jo's Homecook'n - Brighton

Jo is fantastic! Her lobster roll is incredibly tasty and ranks among the best I've ever had. My fiancé and I were feeling hungry on our way back from Moosehead Lake when we discovered this hidden gem. Jo is such a kind-hearted person and welcomed us like we were long-time friends. When it started to rain, we decided to sit indoors, where the atmosphere was wonderfully cozy. We will definitely be coming back more frequently, especially since we live and work in the southern part of town. This will become our new favorite spot whenever we're in the area. Be sure to try the homemade pickles and jams—they're absolutely essential! Thank you, Jo!

While her restaurant may be a little out of the way, the beautiful surroundings and mouthwatering food make it well worth the visit.
