I opted for one by the window but was very clearly told, not politely asked, TOLD that we would have to sit at a table for 2. We were not allowed to sit at the table for 4 by the window. I was surprised and this clearly showed as she said it was Bank Holiday and they were expecting to be busy. I can appreciate that but we were the only ones there and had popped in for a quick lunch. It’s worth noting that another chap was told the same and yet by the time we left, there were still PLENTY of tables available. So much for the crowd rushing in at midday. Also the carbonara was dreadful. Thin liquid which was more like soup was found at the bottom of the bowl. The young waitress did ask if we happy with the food part way through and we just said ‘yes’ because we didn’t want any issues and just couldn’t wait to leave. We won’t be going there again.
I was sat outside in the sun exactly where I asked and my food was brought to me in under 15 minutes, tasting excellent. Very impressed!
It was a really hot day so we opted to eat outside, we were put on two wobbly tables on an incline. We had to keep holding our drinks in case they slid off the tables.
Great service with staff engaging in conversations which was funny!!
Arrived late, they were still happy and I had a lovely Pollo Fungi. Well needed after takeaway week
