Brighton Marina Pizza Express

Prawns with chilli and garlic- couldn’t taste chilli or garlic. Their speciality thin based pizza was entirely soggy and based not entirely cooked.

Fast and friendly service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Food arrived quickly, good flavours. Manager checked everything was OK, used app to pay, family friendly with 2 young kids, would definitely come again

Learned a lesson, come here first!! Served within minutes, enjoyed cold beer whilst pizza calzone ordered. Excellent goats cheese pizza, friendly, attentive staff. Arrived at booked cinema on time, fed . Mistake was going Prezzo’s next door first, waited 20 mins, ignored, no drink or food offered, unable to attract staff attention, tables served before us/arrived after. Up n left . No wonder they’re struggling and closing outlets.

Took my American fiancée to her first Pizza Express. The experience was terrible from beginning to end. The host, named 'Simon', was rude and ordered us to move behind other customers, ushering us into a cold doorway. He justified his behavior by saying it was busy. The waiter service was also lacking - they didn't offer us drink refills or check on our meals. After we finished eating, we had to wait a long time to pay, even putting on our coats before finally flagging down our waiter who had ignored us. The lasagna was mediocre and the pizza was just okay. It was a Saturday night around 6:30, and while the restaurant didn't seem overly crowded, there were some large tables. There were no long lines at the door.

We arrived at the restaurant and placed our drink and food orders within 10 minutes. The drinks arrived promptly, but after waiting for 40 minutes, we were informed that our pizzas were just being put in the oven. It was obvious that the waiter had forgotten to submit our food order. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our order and leave slightly hungry and disappointed.
