Being well-acquainted with Japan and having a lot of experience with authentic Japanese cuisine, I was pleased to find that the interior design resembled those of eateries in Kyōto, Tōkyō, and Fukuoka, and the staff were Japanese. The service was polite, reserved, and efficient, just like in Japan, and the food was truly exceptional. I enjoyed two kinds of nigiri sushi (tuna and yellowtail), delicious mixed tempura served with tasty tentsuyu, pickles, and eel donburi. The kabayaki eels with caramelised tare were perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The restaurant also offers an impressive selection of sake, including regular and premium options like junmai daiginjo sakes. If you are familiar with authentic Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant.
I stopped by this restaurant on a Thursday evening while working in Brighton and was pleasantly surprised. As a fan of Japanese cuisine, I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. The menu had a lot of variety and interesting options that I would have liked to try if it wasn't for my work budget. I ended up ordering Spicy Tuna Maki sushi, Chicken Gyōza, and a delicious Salmon Teriyaki. The restaurant had a nice vibe and a great selection of Saki and Sapporo Beer, giving it an authentic Japanese feel. The decor was impressive and the staff were friendly and helpful. I have already recommended this place to my wife who will be in town for work in a few weeks. I will definitely be coming back.
I heard a lot about this place from my friends and colleagues, such a cold night I thought to go there. Now, eating was ok and the service was inexpensive. I don't know if I'll go back.
Eating was ok and I would come back, but they needed a long time to serve when I dined there, even for something simple like a miso suppe. the personal is polite. the fresh sushi is quite expensive, with its “warm” sushi, which is a better value for money. I enjoyed the latest, but rather purist sushi. the warm rolls are all the crab stick based, and I wonder why so much is cooked by their sushi.
I had a few recommendations from friends before and finally had my birthday dinner with family members. this is the best Japanese restaurant in Great Britain, I have never been to a better place than sushi garden brighton also in london. reasonable price, very cozy interieur, super friendly and attentive staff and finally eating is literally amazing. it has everything to have restaurants. we were 10 of us, so it was a pretty big group, but every dish arrived on time and everything was so fresh and piping hot! highly recommended.
