They forgot to bring us the bread and drinks that we had already paid for. The appetizers were disappointing, but the main dishes were tasty. However, the dessert was supposed to be ice cream with strawberries and cream, but our son only received a small cup of ice cream. Despite complaining to the manager several times, she did not offer a solution and simply mentioned her previous experience in sales before walking away. In general, the food was decent, but the service was extremely poor and rude. We had previously enjoyed dining here, but our experience on Father's Day was a disaster and we have no plans to return.
The hospitality at this restaurant is top-notch. Jack, the host, always goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special. The food is also excellent, and if you're lucky enough to have Emily or Nadgia as your waitress, you're in for a real treat.
This restaurant provides a fantastic option for watching a Premier League game. Enjoy a delicious three-course meal before taking your seats in the main Amex stand. You'll even have a pint waiting for you at half-time, so no need to wait in line. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a highly recommended experience.
We recently had Sunday lunch at this restaurant after taking a stadium tour. We enjoyed a three-course meal that was all incredibly delicious. The roast beef was cooked to perfection and served with a large, tasty Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, and roast potatoes. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and tasted amazing. We dined at a leisurely pace while overlooking the stadium. Sunday lunch is only available on the first Sunday of the month, so make sure to book ahead to avoid disappointment. I highly recommend this place!
I was given a voucher for Sunday lunch at HBs restaurant which is part of the Amex (American Express Community Stadium), home of Brighton Hove Albion Football Club. I booked a table for two: my friend is disabled and we were directed to the disabled parking spaces where we were met by a very helpful man with a golf buggy. We were driven to the West Reception, shown to a lift and walked a short distance to HBs. We were greeted, our booking confirmed and we were shown to our table which overlooks the stadium. There was bottled water on the table (still or fizzy), we were bought freshly baked bread rolls and our drinks were delivered with a smile. The Sunday lunch menu included 3 starters and 4 main courses. We chose a chicken liver parfait which came with piccalilli and sun dried tomatoes and smoked salmon terrine which came with apple and fennel coleslaw and gherkins. Both were served with toasted ciabatta and decorated with micro herbs and edible flowers. For mains we had roast lamb and roast beef, both served with home cooked Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, roasted vegetables, broccoli and greens, red cabbage, gravy and sauces. Delicious. (You could have had a chicken dish or vegetarian risotto). We even managed a pudding I had berries with cream and meringue and my friend had jam rolypoly with custard. The waiting staff were lovely: efficient, friendly, polite and helpful. After our meal we were driven back to the car. I will definitely be back do give it a try: great food and excellent service and if you're looking for a present for a Brighton fan, this would be perfect.
