I have been to this horrible cafe last week. Their staff seem to be sitting outside the cafe acting like customers, smoking and chatting. They were so slow in taking my order and the waiting time was toooo long. I also did not like either...the coffee or the cake. I will never pay another visit and people should avoid going there.
There aren’t many Portuguese places in Brighton, which is a shame. I had the chorizo croquets , which were really tasty . Nice coffee , great service . There is also a hidden shop downstairs selling Portuguese products. Great service.
It’s like stepping into Portugal. The pastel de natas are delightful and not too pricey. The chorizo croquets are also a winner. Highly recommend if you are craving some authentic Portuguese food.
I am not often in this area but when I am I really enjoy visiting this little cafe. Lovely freshly prepared hot or cold food and a friendly place. A good choice of different tasty food and drinks. Someone else was eating the delicious looking...Portuguese stew, mmm, next time.
