However, we were concerned about the environmental impact of the establishment. We were only provided with plastic cups and were not allowed to use glass ones. Additionally, there were no facilities for recycling, so we had to take the cups home with us. It is disappointing to see the promotion of plastic cups all over the front of the shop, especially given the current climate crisis. We hope that the restaurant will make changes to their policy regarding single-use plastics in the future. We will not be returning until this issue is addressed.
I was a bit disappointed today with the experience, the wait was pretty long which I generally don’t mind as I understand the pressure of complying with everyone’s requests. But when I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioqa pearls I didn’t get any pearls and only noticed omw home when opening the drink : but apart from that I still enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, the tea was weak and cold, resembling pond water, and the pearls were chewy and overly sweet. It was not at all like the authentic version. Despite this, the location was great and I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. I was really let down.
More tapioca needs to be in Taro Mallow i was very disappointed to be presented with not enough balls in my drink. The drink was very nice anyway would recommend.
Love this cafe ; love bubble tea ; there’s a really great menu lots of flavours including coffee too ; good variety of jelly additions of you want them too ; reasonably priced and located in centre of Brighton going towards the hip North Laines ; you can sit inside when Covid restrictions are lifted ; service is friendly and fast ; I’ve been using the cafe for years .
