Contribuisci feedbackI may be biased because I know what tapas is supposed to be: small plates of expertly cooked food. However, this chef and the waitstaff at this restaurant truly excel at serving up scrumptious dishes. A meal for two priced at £35 can never be seen as too expensive. This spot is a must-visit, but be prepared for high-quality food rather than large portions of mediocre dishes.
Formerly a charming Tapas restaurant, but it has declined in quality. We left after enjoying only a glass of wine and a small plate, opting to dine elsewhere. The food was basic and overly fried, the ambiance was lacking (no music and poor lighting), and the interior was old and dirty.
The restaurant had a charming rustic atmosphere, with a waiter who was not particularly friendly but still attentive. The service was very fast, and the menu was small, perfect for sharing among a group. However, we were surprised by the high cost of our meal considering the small portions. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant the next time we are in Brighton.
This unassuming restaurant has delicious food at reasonable prices, and sells Muga, the best rioja, in my opinion, and very hard to find in UK restaurants. We will be back!!
My go-to Tapas joint in Brighton. Excellent selection and swift, kinda service!
