The Connaught - Brighton and Hove

I really enjoy this pub. It's perfect in the summer with a beautiful garden, and cozy inside during the winter. The food is excellent, especially the small plates. The Korean pork belly is delicious, and the chicken wings are very spicy and tasty, albeit messy. The staff is always friendly. Overall, it's a great place.

A great pub with great food.With an excellent manager and friendly staff.Sadly come weekends it can turn into a kindergarten with scooters blocking tables.And bags taking up seats.God forbid you should you should show any displeasure at whatever bratlet is running amok as mummy’s glare would thaw a Polar Ice Cp.From now on I’ll stick to Sunday Quiz Nights.

I was very disappointed by my recent visit to The Connaught. Our food arrived about 3 minutes after ordering, meaning it could not possibly have been freshly cooked or prepared! The food served was cold, no warmth at all, and the vegetarian pie I ordered was essentially a pukka pie which was poorly cooked and disgusting. Not the quality expected and extremely disappointing. We will not be returning.

We love visiting and have visited many times. Love the menu and their chicken wings with Brighton blue Mayo. It is amazing. Also Really like that they have specials each day. Makes it more interesting! Thursday Friday is half price fizz too which always is tempting. Very dog friendly in there and our little dog loves being able to sit on the sofa with us as some places don’t like that.

We love this pub! The staff are great, the beer and wine selection is the best anywhere in Hove and the food is rather good. Not forgetting the great atmosphere!
