Came in for a quick bite and drink with my Mother to end the afternoon.
I had Sunday lunch here with my Mum. We both had the pork belly. The food was nice, not amazing but enjoyable, and a good price. The staff were all really friendly and I couldn't fault them. What was slightly disappointing is how tired everything is looking, the furniture is starting to look tatty and worn. It's a shame because it looked so good when it first opened. Also the toilets were disgusting. Most of them were out of order, and the ones that weren't were filthy. Really not acceptable.
Came for lunch with a group of friends, food was lovely! Amelia was very attentive and very engaging with the children with us.
I honestly had the best wild boar and apple sausages I've EVER had, the chef obviously knows what he is doing!! From the second we walked through the door we were greeted by the lovely Amelia and felt whole heartedly welcomed. Ordered off the main menu, as I said I had the best wild boar sausages, champ mash and broccoli....that gravy was amazing and I probably would have bought a bottle of it! My wife had the tuna crunch sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. I've never been so excited to write a review about sausage and mash but credit where it is due it was gorgeous!! Keep doing what you are doing because it's fantastic. The view of the see isn't even the main attraction, the staff, the food, the welcome and the ambiance is. 100% recommendation from me!
