Aside from another couple who left shortly after we arrived, the bistro was completely empty. It would have been better if our starter had been served alongside our main courses instead of being served at the same time. It's truly disappointing to see the Marine in this state, and I hope that changes are on the horizon.
I admit that choosing the 8:00 PM time slot for a New Year's Eve dinner was a mistake, as it was one of only three options available. When I called the venue, the recorded message didn’t clarify if the dining room was closed, and I later found out that the kitchen closed at 8:30 PM. Additionally, coffee was only served in the gaming room, which wasn't ideal for a New Year's Eve celebration in such a noisy environment. However, the food was fantastic, and most of the staff, especially the waitstaff, were excellent.
Well, it was nyeve so understated. waits over 1/2 for 3 cocktails. the broken fish had a thick oily coating, salat was only limp salat and swirl, was said there was no dessert, but it managed to get an ice for our 3 years old. I haven't been there for many years and certainly wouldn't frighten. it's a shame as the position is needing well to play it on.
Most of the restaurant was closed. We weren’t sure if we were in the right place and there were no staff to ask. Eventually found a girl who just said sit anywhere although we had booked. No drinks or menu offered. The QR code wasn’t working. There was no one else eating. No service. Noisy group of men on high table so it felt like the public bar. We left after 15 minutes.
Very pleasant airconditioned place to meet with a friend on a hot day
